022 - The Master Baiter
It's a trap! Carson shares the story of the "bait" used on him by a family member looking to get a reaction. Will he take it? Meanwhile, Brett's engagement reaches critical mass as he realizes just how much goes into planning a wedding, and the stress and arguments that go along with it. Will he make it? Other subjects include medical marijuana, Egyptology, the history of wedding traditions, and the psychoactive plant, Blue Lily. \m/

I know there are a lot of positives resulting from the stress of planning the wedding (deeper relationships with family, learning to compromise with your fiancee when you both have strong opinions on something, dressing Carson in an elephant thong, etc...). But there were many times in that podcast where I was so grateful that my wife and I just walked over to the courthouse without telling anyone in advance Cool

The documentary on Egypt sounds really interesting and I will definitely check that one out.

I just had a couple of friends zip off to Vegas and get married there... for sure the easier, less-stressed way of getting married. That said, my wedding was a damn lot of fun and I don't regret it for a second. VERY happy I will never have to do that again though! Tongue

Just wanted to update on the Egyptology stuff talked about on this episode. At one point I had brought up the idea of the Egyptians using slaves to help build the pyramids, which was confusing as it goes against the idea of them being a highly evolved society. Stumbled across this article tonight which shows evidence to the contrary:
